Job summary

Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) seeks a mid-level to senior Contracts Administrator to manage the full life cycle of prime contracts, task orders, subcontracts, and related agreements. The role supports AMA’s NASA and DoD programs in a multidisciplinary team, with hybrid or remote options for qualified candidates.

Located in Huntsville, AL, the role requires strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, sound commercial contract judgment, and ability to coordinate with Government personnel and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, contracts management, supply chain management, finance, economics, accounting, legal studies, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience may be considered.
• Mid-level (63,942-79,928): At least 5 years of progressive contracts or subcontract administration experience.
• Senior-level (77,331-95,680): At least 8 years of progressive experience including independent management of complex agreements and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and administer prime contracts, delivery orders, and task orders from pre-award through post-award to ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other requirements.
• Support proposal and bid preparation, including reviewing solicitations, statements of work, and specifications to identify risks and mitigation.
• Serve as a point of contact with Government contracting personnel and teaming partners on contractual matters.
• Coordinate review and approval of terms, conditions, and legal sufficiency of contractual documents.
• Manage subcontracts through full life cycle: requirements definition, evaluation, negotiation, award, modifications, and closeout.
• Review, negotiate, and administer commercial agreements including master services agreements, NDAs, and teaming agreements.
