Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) seeks a mid-level to senior Contracts Administrator to independently manage the full life cycle of prime contracts, subcontracts, and related agreements supporting NASA and DoD programs.

Located in Huntsville, AL, this role may offer hybrid or remote arrangements for qualified candidates. The successful candidate will apply FAR/DFARS knowledge, strong commercial contracting experience, and sound judgment to drive compliant, on-time program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's level education in related fields with equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive contracts or subcontract administration experience for mid-level.
• 8+ years of progressive experience for senior level including independent management of complex agreements.
• Familiarity with the FAR and DFARS and their application to prime contracts and subcontracts.
• Experience administering cost-type, fixed-price, and labor-based contracts and subcontracts (CPFF, CPAF, FFP, T&M).
• Strong commercial contract and subcontract experience; U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

Responsibilities

• Manage prime contracts, delivery orders, and task orders through full life cycle.
• Support proposal reviews and identify contractual risks, mitigation plans.
• Serve as point of contact with Government contracting personnel and teaming partners.
• Coordinate program reviews with contract status, funding, and compliance.
• Review and approve terms, conditions, and legal sufficiency of documents.
• Oversee subcontracts from solicitation through closeout and funding administration.
• Prepare accurate RFPs and evaluate subcontractor proposals and bids.
• Administer contracts and subcontracts per FAR/DFARS, NASA FAR Supplement, CPSR requirements.
• Coordinate with Finance, Program Management, customers, and primes.
