Job summary

Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) seeks a mid-level to senior Contracts Administrator to manage the full lifecycle of prime contracts, subcontracts AMA awards to other companies, and agreements where AMA is a subcontractor. The role supports NASA and DoD programs from Huntsville, AL, with hybrid or remote work possible for qualified candidates.

The position requires knowledge of FAR/DFARS, strong commercial contract experience, and excellent time management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years progressive contracts/subcontract administration.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and prime/subcontract flowdowns.
• Experience with cost-type, fixed-price, and labor-based contracts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor prime contracts through pre/post-award; ensure FAR/DFARS compliance.
• Review solicitations and SOWs; identify risks and mitigation.
• Serve as point of contact with Government contracting personnel.
• Coordinate review of contract terms and ensure funding alignment.
• Administer government and commercial contracts and subcontracts.
• Prepare RFPs, proposals, and subcontract terms and conditions.
• Coordinate with Finance and PM to resolve funding issues.
