Job summary

BBCH (BBCH) is seeking a Superintendent to lead federal construction projects and manage scheduling, safety, and subcontractor coordination. This role focuses on delivering quality within contract documents, complying with regulations, and maintaining daily communications with Project Manager and Owner.

The candidate will oversee field staff, coordinate with the Quality Control Manager and Site Safety and Health Officer, and drive progress through weekly meetings and look-ahead schedules.

Qualifications

• 10 years' experience in similar projects, building renovations, and/or new construction.
• Experience managing GSA, USACE and/or NAVFAC government construction projects
• OSHA 30hr certification
• Experience with Procore
• Experience with RMS
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF
• Pre-employment drug screening and background checks may be required

Responsibilities

• Manage overall quality and production of work and conformance to Contract Documents.
• Coordinate/communicate with the Project Manager daily.
• Coordinate/communicate with Owner as necessary.
• Manage subcontractor, contractor, owner, inspector, AHJ field coordination, daily.
• Attend the pre-construction conference, pre-work meetings including three phase inspection meetings.
• Manage/maintain weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Attend/participate in weekly Owner’s meetings.
• Review and be knowledgeable of subcontractor’s subcontracted scope of work.
• Provide input on dates, durations, and coordination, monthly.
• Prepare short-term detailed look ahead schedules, weekly.
