Job summary

Jobot seeks a permanent Superintendent to lead field operations on federal construction projects. The role requires NAVFAC/Army Corps experience, EM 385-1-1 compliance, and strong leadership to manage subcontractors, safety, quality, and schedule.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering, 5+ years in construction management, and proven ability to coordinate with project managers and inspectors while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction management with leadership roles.
• Proven experience with NAVFAC and/or Army Corps.
• Must meet EM 385-1-1 requirements and OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to access military installations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all field activities and ensure subcontractor performance in safety, quality, and timeliness.
• Implement safety protocols per EM 385-1-1; ensure hazard identification and safety compliance (OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR).
• Prepare and distribute project documents: daily reports, look-ahead schedules, incident reports, safety inspections, permits, and investigations.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, and staff to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
