Good-Men Roofing & Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Federal Construction Superintendent / QCM/SSHO to lead field operations on NAVFAC, USACE and DoD projects across California.

The role combines on-site supervision with strict quality control, safety compliance, scheduling, client communication, and contract administration to ensure performance meets all federal requirements. The ideal candidate has demonstrated leadership on federal projects, holds CQM-C, EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 30

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years NAVFAC/USACE/DoD or federal construction experience.
• Experience as Superintendent/QCM/SSHO on federal projects.
• Experience supervising field operations and subcontractors.
• Current CQM-C Certification.
• Current EM 385-1-1 40-Hour Safety Training.
• Current OSHA 30-Hour Certification.
• Knowledge of Three-Phase Quality Control System.
• Familiarity with RMS/QCS software and federal submittal processes.
• Experience with RFIs and submittals.
• Ability to access military installations and federal facilities.
• Willingness to travel across Southern California.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site Superintendent, QCM, and SSHO for federal projects.
• Manage day-to-day field operations to meet safety, schedule, and contract requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Review contract documents, approved drawings, and submittals throughout execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with the Project Manager to meet milestones.
• Lead weekly progress and coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Act as primary field representative with NAVFAC, USACE, inspectors, and owners.
• Implement the Quality Control Program and Three-Phase Control System.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, clarifications, and as-built documentation.
• Develop and enforce project safety programs per EM 385-1-1 and OSHA.
