Job summary

GSI Family of Companies seeks a Federal Construction Superintendent to lead high-visibility federal projects on-site. You will drive field leadership, scheduling, coordination of subcontractors, and strict adherence to federal plans and specifications.

With 10+ years in construction supervision and OSHA 30 certification, you will enforce EM 385-1-1, manage budgets, and coordinate safety, QC, and client communications to deliver mission-critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years as a Construction Superintendent, with at least 5 years on large federal projects.
• Safety Training: 5+ years and OSHA 30-Hour certification.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management apps.
• Compliance: Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all trade groups and subcontractors to align with the SOW.
• Maintain the master project schedule and develop 3-week look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate material takeoffs and ensure on-site delivery of equipment and supplies.
• Inspect work across trades to meet federal specs and GSI standards.
• Act as on-site safety lead enforcing EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations.
• Lead weekly progress meetings and QC-related meetings and inspections.
• Assist in drafting subcontract scopes, project estimates, bid packages, and budgets.
