Job summary

G.M. Hill Engineering, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to lead on-site field operations on federal construction projects. This position combines the roles of Superintendent, Site Safety and Health Officer, and Quality Control Manager, ensuring that safety, quality, and compliance are maintained throughout each project.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction management, particularly on USACE projects, and will be responsible for overseeing activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. Additional duties include coordinating permits and maintaining communication with project teams.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in construction management, safety, or quality control on federal projects.
• Certifications: OSHA 30, USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM-C), First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction activities ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
• Lead subcontractors and field teams to deliver high-quality work on time.
• Conduct safety meetings and produce Activity Hazard Analyses.
