Job summary

CJW Contractors, Inc. seeks a seasoned Site Superintendent with federal field experience for DC-area projects. You will lead occupied facilities, manage multiple subs, ensure security and safety, and coordinate access across NAVFAC, USACE, GSA, or NIH work bands.

The role requires OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, a valid driver’s license, and active CAC or DBIDS base access. Procore Certification and ASHE Healthcare Constructor are strongly preferred; note that CQM-C is not required.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction — active
• First Aid / CPR — current certification
• Valid driver's license — required for all CJW operating states
• Active CAC or DBIDS base access credential — Day 1 readiness
• Procore Certification — platform used on CJW projects
• ASHE Healthcare Constructor — relevant for NIH and VA hospital work
• Note: CQM-C is NOT required for this role — that is the QC Manager's credential

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain full site logistics from mobilization through demobilization.
• Manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously and maintain production momentum.
• Coordinate badging, escort, and base access on secure military bases.
• Read and apply construction drawings at expert level and reference specs.
• Identify field conflicts and document RFIs with PM.
• Maintain current as-built drawings and assist with lookahead scheduling.
• Lead pre-task safety briefings and on-site toolbox talks.
