Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction (QA) Inspector to oversee on-site surveillance of all construction phases in Louisville, KY.

The role requires complex compliance checks against plans, specs, and engineering standards while coordinating with government personnel. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in DoD/USACE construction, knowledge of applicable codes, and experience with hospital projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years on DoD/USACE construction projects.
• Experience with vertical hospital construction preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver surveillance reports on construction phases for compliance with plans and specs.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure project compliance with standards and design instructions.
• Perform inspections and daily site reports including safety and subcontractor activity.
• Observe phases for schedule compliance and recommend changes.
• Prepare engineering plans or reports.
• Review contractor schedules and submittals.
• Assist in contract modification processes.
• Monitor progress and alert project team to delays.
• Utilize RMS in daily tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
