Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction (QA) Inspector to monitor compliance on large federal projects in Louisville, KY. Duties include surveillance reporting, technical plan reviews, and daily site reporting using RMS.

Must pass background and drug screening; extensive experience with construction codes and safety programs preferred. Ideal candidates have a minimum high school diploma with an Associate or Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Engineering

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; AS/BS in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of construction contract administration and inspection on large federal projects (DoD/USACE preferred).
• Experience with vertical construction and hospital projects preferred.
• Knowledge of Life Safety Code (NFPA 101), NFPA 70, IPC, NFPA 13 & 72, ASHRAE/NEBB.
• Experience with RMS 3.0 and three-phase inspection; OSHA EM 385-1-1 preferred.

Responsabilités

• Delivers surveillance reports on construction phases to government personnel.
• Provides technical guidance to ensure compliance with codes and design instructions.
• Performs inspections and daily site reports including safety issues and subcontractor activity.
• Observes phases, identifies issues, and recommends contract modifications if needed.
• Prepares engineering plans or reports and reviews contractor schedules.
• Assists in contract modification processes and reviews submittals for approval.
