Job summary
Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction (QA) Inspector for Louisville, KY to oversee surveillance, inspections, and reporting on large-scale federal construction projects.
The role requires ensuring compliance with plans, specs, codes, and safety standards, with direct liaison to government personnel. The ideal candidate brings extensive field experience in vertical construction, hospital projects, and knowledge of NFPA, NEC, IPC, and related codes; DoD/USACE
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 10+ years of construction contract administration and inspection on large DoD/USACE projects preferred.
- Experience with vertical construction projects; hospital construction preferred.
- Experience with applicable construction/building codes required.
Responsibilities
- Delivers surveillance reports on construction for compliance with plans and specs.
- Provides technical engineering compliance expertise to client.
- Performs inspections and daily site reports including progress, safety, and subcontractor manpower.
