Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction QA Inspector in Louisville, KY to oversee inspections, document progress, and ensure adherence to plans, specs, and safety standards on federal projects.

The role requires a strong background in construction management, with 10+ years of project inspection on large federal sites and experience with building codes and RMS 3.0. A high level of detail, reporting, and coordination with the project team is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED minimum.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience on large federal construction projects (DoD/USACE preferred).
• Experience with vertical hospital construction is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes and safety standards (NFPA 101, NFPA 70, IPC).
• Experience with RMS 3.0 and three-phase inspection processes; OSHA/EM 385-1-1 preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver surveillance reports on construction phases for compliance with plans and specs.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with engineering standards and codes.
• Perform site inspections and maintain daily site reports with progress, safety, and manpower notes.
• Observe construction phases for schedule and specs compliance; identify issues and propose modifications.
• Prepare engineering plans or reports and review contractor schedules.
• Assist in contract modification processes and in review of submittals.
