Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to oversee all phases of federal construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and closeout.

This role requires leading multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with architects and engineers, and serving as primary client liaison at USACE-managed sites. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 10+ years PM experience, PMP preferred, and a proven track record with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.
• 10+ years of construction project management experience.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with Federal Construction projects, particularly USACE, preferred.
• Strong leadership and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction project phases from planning to closeout.
• Manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors; serve as primary client liaison.
• Review contract documents for schedule compliance and reasonability.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Implement quality control to meet specifications and standards.
• Conduct inspections and audits to address quality issues.
• Review contractor plans and submittals for approvals and compliance.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance, RFIs, and REAs.
• Assist with site visits and owner presentations.
• Mentor and train team members; oversee contract negotiations and compliance.
• Monitor progress and advise on potential delays; prepare payment estimates.
