Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee large federal construction projects from planning through closeout. The role requires coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors, managing schedules and budgets, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders on-site at facilities such as F.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years Construction Project Management experience.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience with Federal Construction projects, particularly USACE, is preferred.
• Strong background in Project Management with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to execution and closeout.
• Manage and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet milestones; serve as primary client contact and communicate progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Review contract documents for schedule compliance and reasonability.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Implement quality control measures to meet specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to address quality issues.
• Prepare correspondence regarding contractor performance, REAs, RFIs and other technical issues.
• Assist with hosting site visits and presentations to owner’s representatives.
• Provide guidance and training to team members; oversee contract negotiations and compliance.
• Monitor scheduled progress and advise on potential delays; produce monthly project reports.
• Participate in all phases of contract modification process and assist with scopes of work for RFPs and government estimates.
• Attend and participate in meetings with customers and contractors.
