Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to provide engineering, construction management, and contract administration support for federal construction projects.

The role involves reviewing contractor performance, monitoring schedules, QA activities, and preparing technical guidance for project execution. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in engineering or related field and 7+ years of relevant experience, with preference for USACE/DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of engineering/construction management experience; or 10 years managing construction projects.
• Experience with USACE/DoD/other federal programs preferred.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, UFC, EM 385-1-1 and related regulations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Review QA work for technical accuracy and provide guidance on plans/specs.
• Review contractor schedules for conformance and contract compliance.
• Document principal construction features, plans, specs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Maintain awareness of contractor activities to prevent delays.
• Assist in negotiation/change order management and government communications.
• Support in project controls, scheduling, and contract administration.
