Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a Senior Construction Representative to oversee surveillance of Lexington-based construction projects. Responsibilities include producing surveillance reports on workmanship, materials, and methods, and coordinating changes with government personnel.

US citizenship and background check are required. The role requires 7+ years in construction project engineering or inspection, familiarity with USACE/DoD programs, and strong QA/QC and safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project engineering, management, or inspection.
• US Citizenship and ability to pass background and drug screen.
• Experience supporting USACE/DoD/federal programs preferred.
• Familiarity with local permitting, utilities, and regional construction methods.
• Knowledge of QA/QC, contract administration, and safety requirements.
• Experience reviewing drawings, submittals, schedules, and daily reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance of construction projects and deliver findings.
• Prepare surveillance reports documenting compliance with plans and specifications.
• Review plans and specifications and recommend changes to government personnel.
• Provide site surveillance and assist in resolving differences.
• Develop inspection requirements and control methods with government personnel.
• Prepare draft change orders and modifications as needed.
• Submit deliverables for government review per process.
• Review contractor's quality and safety plans for conformance.
• Maintain daily QA reports and audit trails.
• Travel to job sites as required.
