Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a Sr. Construction Representative in Lexington, KY to oversee surveillance of construction projects for compliance with plans, specs, workmanship, and safety requirements. You will prepare surveillance reports and coordinate with government personnel throughout all project phases.

The role requires strong QA/QC knowledge, ability to review plans, and provide recommendations on changes. US citizenship and ability to pass a federal background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be US citizen and pass federal background/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance of construction projects and deliver findings.
• Prepare surveillance reports documenting compliance with plans and specs.
• Review contract plans and recommend changes to government personnel.
• Provide site surveillance and assist in resolving differences.
• Advise government personnel and coordinate QA/QC programs.
• Assist with change orders and supporting data.
• Develop inspection requirements in coordination with government personnel.
• Prepare draft change orders for COR/ACO/KO.
• Submit deliverables for government review within approved processes.
• Review contractor quality control plans and safety programs.
• Attend meetings with contractors and COR and keep notes.
• Review daily QC reports and ensure adequate documentation.
• Perform surveillance to ensure compliance with USACE 3-phase QC.
• Provide daily QA inspection follow-ups and surveillance.
• Review ongoing work for conformity to contract requirements.
• Attend QA preparatory inspections and submit daily QAR reports.
