Accura Engineering in Lexington, KY is seeking a Senior Construction Representative to oversee surveillance of construction projects and deliver reports on workmanship, materials, and methods for compliance with plans and specs. You will coordinate with government personnel and review contractor QA/QC plans and documents on a wide range of federal projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED minimum; construction degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in construction project engineering/management/inspection.
• Experience with USACE/DoD/federal programs preferred.
• Familiarity with local permitting and construction methods.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, contract administration and safety requirements.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specs, submittals, schedules and progress payments.
• Experience with contract modifications, cost estimates and project closeout.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate with government and teams.
• Ability to obtain/maintain access to military installations.

Responsabilités

• Conduct surveillance of construction projects and deliver findings.
• Prepare surveillance reports documenting compliance with plans for workmanship, materials, installation.
• Review contract plans and specifications and recommend changes to government personnel.
• Provide site surveillance and assist in resolving differences.
• Provide opinions to government personnel and discuss changes.
• Assist in investigating need for change orders and preparing data.
• Develop inspection requirements and control methods with government.
• Prepare draft change orders for COR/ACO/KO.
• Submit deliverables for government review per process.
• Review QC Plan, Safety Plan, CPMs and related docs for conformance.
• Attend preconstruction conferences and coordination meetings.
• Review daily QC reports to ensure adequate documentation.
• Perform surveillance to ensure adherence to USACE 3-phase QC system.
• Submit daily QAR within 24 hours after inspection.
• Verify site location, layout, elevations before start.
• Monitor procedures for tracking deficiencies.
• Report findings on daily QAR and track RFIs.
• Travel to and from job sites will be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
