Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Sr Technician, Facilities to maintain a large commercial campus in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on monitoring building systems, responding to alarms, and ensuring safe, reliable operations.

You will work on a second shift (Sun-Wed, 1:30 PM–11:30 PM) with a four‑day workweek, industry‑leading parking and uniforms provided. You will collaborate with facilities teams to implement preventive maintenance and to support day‑to‑day operations while prioritizing safety and

Qualifications

• Four years of proven related work experience.
• Industry trade certifications strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service and repairs in specialized technical trades for Nationwide facilities.
• Ensure maximum operational efficiency of facilities and equipment, including grounds and support equipment.
• Inspect and ensure all systems, including utility infrastructure, are fully operational and maintained.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and refrigeration systems.
• May provide direction for training and guidance of less experienced staff.
• Respond to customer service requests and maintenance, fire system and emergency calls.
• Follow all safety and environmental laws and regulations.
