Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech Sr to join the East Hospital maintenance team on the second shift in Columbus, OH. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC, ensuring reliable operations.

You will lead a team of technicians when required, coordinate work orders, respond to emergencies, and uphold safety and customer service standards in a large 110,000+ square foot

Qualifications

• 2nd shift responsibilities including inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC systems.
• Ability to mentor technicians and coordinate work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment.
• Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Identify and communicate project requirements; lead technicians when needed.
• Respond to emergencies and correct defects promptly.
• Document work orders and maintain proper records.
