Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech Sr to join the East | Maintenance team for the 2nd shift. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC.

You may lead a team of technicians, mentor staff, distribute work orders, and respond to emergencies while ensuring safety and accurate documentation. Location: East Hospital - Tower (0397).

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining buildings and equipment.
• Ability to lead maintenance crews and coordinate tasks.
• Commitment to safety practices and proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment.
• Lead or assist maintenance technicians, and coordinate projects for areas exceeding 110,000 square feet.
• Mentor, train and provide technical expertise to staff; respond to emergencies and ensure safety procedures.
