Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the First Community Village Senior Living Campus in Columbus, OH. This full-time role operates on a Day Shift (8am-4:30pm), Monday–Friday with occasional weekends and on-call duties.

Under supervision, you will perform general building maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs, with responsibilities ranging from electrical and plumbing to carpentry and HVAC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years maintenance experience.
• HAVC certification and valid driver’s license required.
• Good mechanical and problem-solving abilities; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident units and common areas: carpentry, painting, general repairs.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in: painting, cleaning, carpet cleaning.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliances.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and maintain logs/records.
• Maintain security systems, fire alarms, and door locks.
• Assist outside service personnel and vendors as needed.
• Manage grounds, snow/ice removal, and trash/dumpster areas.
