Job summary

JLL is seeking a Planner/Scheduler Manager in Lake Orion, MI. The role leads facilities staff and oversees maintenance, housekeeping, and indirect materials to maximize equipment uptime and lifecycle performance.

You will partner with senior facilities leadership to drive client satisfaction and operational excellence. The position requires robust experience in facilities management, leadership, CMMS, and strong budgeting/forecasting capabilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of facilities management experience in corporate environment or consulting.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Proven record of delivering exceptional internal and external customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop facilities staff to deliver service levels within budgets.
• Manage work assignments for technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Provide coaching and performance management to direct reports.
• Address employee performance issues promptly and effectively.
• Pursue training to improve team capabilities and technical skills.
• Oversee preventative maintenance to maximize uptime and lifecycle.
• Coordinate site inspections and outstanding projects with operations.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and service standards are met.
