Job summary

JLL is seeking a Planner/Scheduler Manager in Lake Orion, MI to provide strategic leadership for maintenance, housekeeping, and indirect materials management at a corporate facility. You will ensure safe operation of building systems, deliver tenant services, and manage the preventative maintenance program to maximize uptime and lifecycle performance.

You will partner with the Senior Facility Manager and client Facility Area Manager to achieve operational excellence and exceptional client

Qualifications

• 6+ years of facilities management experience in corporate environment, third-party service provider, or consulting capacity.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with proven ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Proven record of delivering exceptional internal and external customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to develop successful relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop facilities staff to deliver expected service levels within prescribed budgets.
• Manage work assignments for building technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Provide coaching and performance management to direct reports throughout the year to achieve objectives and develop professional skills.
• Address employee performance issues promptly and effectively.
• Pursue training resources to improve team capabilities and technical competencies.
• Oversee preventative maintenance program to maximize uptime and asset lifecycle.
• Coordinate daily facility inspections and work with operations on outstanding projects.
• Ensure contractor activities comply with policies and safety standards.
• Oversee service delivery and vendor management programs.
• Maintain safety, compliance and client service standards.
