Job summary

JLL in Lake Orion, MI is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to sustain our Facility Management program by directing operational support personnel, including UAW trades and sanitation teams, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance and projects. You will lead diverse maintenance personnel, mobile technicians, and housekeeping staff to ensure seamless daily operations of critical building systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management.
• Minimum of 2 years in maintenance supervision.
• Strong organizational and management skills with ability to direct staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and standard software.
• Experience managing union trades and knowledge of UAW operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise JLL UAW trades personnel, technicians, and housekeeping staff.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC/R, building exhaust, elevator maintenance, and utilities.
• Oversee electrical substations, switchgear, emergency power systems, UPS systems, and standby generators.
• Manage building automation, monitoring systems, data centers, security systems, and energy conservation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with life safety systems including fire sprinkler systems, smoke/detection, extinguishers, and evacuation plans.
• Provide on-site coverage during weekend production and lead assigned projects.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager on outstanding issues and special projects.
