Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day activities for client facilities. You will manage budgets, operations, and contract services while leading a diverse team of tradespeople.

The role requires coordinating with clients and stakeholders to maintain service quality and asset value. The position is in-office with on-site work in multiple locations including Boston, MA and Renton, WA, and requires on-call availability and travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent facilities or property management experience.
• 5+ years of facilities management or operations experience.
• Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, mechanical and services.
• CFM or similar certification a plus.
• Superior client relationship management skills.
• Strong supervisory and people management skills.
• Ability to plan and manage financials within budget and time constraints.
• Experience with managing multiple vendors and small capital projects.
• Excellent computer proficiency with MS Office and CMMS.
• Knowledge of Yardi is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel to various sites within assigned geographic areas as required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage all facility services in accordance with client standards and processes.
• Develop and manage facilities operating and capital budgets for the portfolio.
• Achieve cost savings by optimizing supplier and contractor utilization.
• Develop and manage a high performing facilities team.
• Coordinate operational aspects to protect and improve asset value.
• Ensure site management adheres to standards and compliance.
• Perform monthly reporting, forecasting and asset management.
• Implement preventive maintenance and repair programs.
• Develop multi-year capital improvement plans and oversee projects.
• Manage third-party vendors and periodic bidding/inspections.
