Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a campus-style property portfolio in Miami, FL. You will supervise maintenance, manage contracts and budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and service standards.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong leadership and financial skills. Hybrid work may be considered depending on project needs and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, or Business Administration required.
• 5–7 years of commercial high-rise, campus environment, and/or property portfolio management experience required.
• Experience in leasing, construction, engineering and all facets of property operation preferred.
• CMMS/Work Order Management experience preferred.
• Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or IFMA/BOMA certifications recommended; other training preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction specifications and blueprints; proficient in MS Office; strong financial literacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations including custodial, life-safety, engineering, site services, and maintenance.
• Manage contracts to ensure regular review and bidding; verify invoices match pricing.
• Supervise maintenance programs for interior and exterior property conditions.
• Respond to tenant requests and oversee contract programs to meet SLA expectations.
• Ensure timely completion of site docs and reports (manuals, logs, invoices, drawings).
• Prepare, review and approve budgets, contracts, expenditures, and PO processes.
• Coordinate annual budget, quarterly reforecast and business plans; assist development of capital budgets.
• Hire, train and motivate facility personnel; conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure insurance compliance and coordinate claims as required.
• Familiarity with management contracts and contract language; strong vendor relations.
