Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Facilities Manager in Miami, FL to oversee day-to-day facility operations across campuses, ensuring safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction. You will manage contracts, track budgets, and supervise maintenance programs for both interior and exterior spaces.

The role requires 5–7 years in commercial property management, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong knowledge of CMMS, financial forecasting, and building systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in relevant field
• 5–7 years of commercial high-rise or campus property management experience
• Experience with leasing, construction, engineering, and property operations preferred
• Experience with programs to drive cost efficiencies and CMMS/Work Order Management preferred
• CFM/IFMA/BOMA certifications recommended; other training valued
• Ability to read construction specs and blueprints; contract language literacy
• Strong financial management including budgeting and forecasting

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations including custodial, life-safety, engineering, and maintenance
• Manage contracts, bids, and invoice verification
• Supervise maintenance programs for interior/exterior properties
• Respond to tenant requests and ensure SLA alignment
• Maintain site documentation and reporting logs
• Prepare budgets, financial reports, and purchase orders
• Coordinate annual budget and forecast processes
• Assist in capital budgeting and five-year maintenance plans
• Hire, train, and evaluate facility staff
• Ensure insurance compliance and manage claims as needed
