Cushman & Wakefield in McLean, VA seeks a Senior Chief Engineer to lead and oversee engineering and maintenance across large properties, ensuring safe, efficient operations and asset performance. You will develop staff, manage budgets, coordinate with vendors, and drive capital projects, energy audits, and compliance.

Qualifications

10+ years of engineering supervision in commercial properties.
Experience operating HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and asset lifecycle.
Proven ability to manage vendors and complex projects.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and supervision of engineering staff, including hiring and performance management.
Oversee engineering operations for properties totaling 500,000 square feet or more.
Ensure services align with client expectations and company policies.
Utilize CMMS and BI dashboards to manage work orders and asset tracking.
Develop preventive maintenance programs and capital planning.
Coordinate operating budgets and cost analyses for service contracts.
Lead safety and compliance programs and inspections.
Collaborate with project teams on capital projects and renovations.
Support client relationships and vendor management.
