CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a highly skilled security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits and contribute to adversary tracking. This is a defensive role focused on understanding exploitation techniques and developing actionable intelligence.

Ideal candidates have deep reverse engineering experience, Python proficiency, and strong writing skills. Remote work with opportunities for travel may be available, and the team collaborates across CrowdStrike Intelligence to mitigate threats.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques commonly seen in userspace and kernel exploits.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Windows and at least one other OS.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop tracking systems for adversary tracking based on observed exploitation behavior.
• Improve detection capabilities for exploits and malicious payloads.
• Create scanners and signatures for large-scale threat hunting.
• Reverse engineer exploits to understand inner workings and classify techniques.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports with actionable guidance.
