Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a motivated security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits and document vulnerability techniques. You will work within the TAC to reverse engineer payloads, develop automation, and contribute to threat intelligence reporting.

This is a defense-focused role that emphasizes rigorous technical writing and cross-team collaboration. Preferred candidates have strong Python skills and experience with AI-assisted analysis tools, enabling rapid expansion of capabilities

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques commonly seen in exploits for userspace and kernel-level vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Strong reverse engineering skills and tools.
• Python programming skills.
• Ability to use AI-assisted tools to accelerate vulnerability research and exploit analysis.
• Excellent writing skills are mandatory.
• Experience in threat intelligence reporting and briefing.
• Collaborative team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Research exploits observed in the wild and document techniques.
• Develop automation to assist exploit analysis tasks.
• Create a classification framework for intrusion activity based on vulnerabilities used.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports with actionable guidance.
• Brief stakeholders and customers as needed on findings and mitigation strategies.
