CrowdStrike is seeking a highly skilled security researcher for its Intelligence TAC. You will research in-the-wild exploits, reverse engineer malware, and develop automation for exploit analysis. The role focuses on defensive, proactive analysis to track adversaries and improve detection and mitigation.

Ideal candidates excel in writing, can brief technical results, and collaborate across teams to advance CrowdStrike's threat intelligence products and tooling.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques commonly seen in exploits for userspace and kernel-level vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Windows and other OS platforms.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Excellent writing skills are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Track adversary landscape based on intrusion behavior and contribute to attribution efforts.
• Develop host- and network-based signatures for large-scale hunting and detection.
• Create classification frameworks to aid threat attribution from exploits.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports with actionable mitigation guidance.
• Brief diverse audiences on complex technical analysis results.
