Job summary

CrowdStrike Intelligence is seeking a seasoned security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits, track adversaries, and develop actionable threat intelligence. The role emphasizes close collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires strong reverse engineering and writing skills.

Remote work is supported with occasional travel; applicants should have MA/MS in CS or equivalent, plus expertise in exploit techniques, Python, and AI-enabled tooling to accelerate research outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques common in userspace and kernel-level vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Windows operating system platforms.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Collaborative mindset and strong teamwork.
• Proficiency with reverse engineering tools and processes.
• Programming/scripting in Python.
• Ability to leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate vulnerability research.

Responsibilities

• Implement tracking systems for adversary tracking based on observed exploitation behavior.
• Improve detection capabilities for exploits and malicious payloads.
• Develop signatures for large-scale hunting and prevention of identified exploits.
• Create a classification framework for intrusion activity based on vulnerabilities.
