JPMorgan Chase is seeking an experienced Senior Associate of Experience Research in Digital Channels to shape user experiences across products and services. You will define research strategy for AI-driven customer experiences, working with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable product decisions.

You will lead research programs, mentor junior researchers, and stay ahead of AI-UX trends while balancing risk and business goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading generative and evaluative UX research with strong qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Ability to lead research across technically complex, cross-product or platform-scale spaces.
• Proven track record translating research into product strategy and measurable improvements.
• Able to synthesize complex inputs into clear recommendations and leadership-ready narratives.
• Thrives in ambiguity with iterative mindset and evolving scope.
• Strong communication, able to tailor to executives and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic UX research by identifying opportunities and gaps across product areas and align with product strategy.
• Apply appropriate research methods depending on design stage and context.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to clarify problems and set direction amid uncertainty.
• Develop approaches to document and evaluate human + AI workflows and assess implications.
• Connect research to metrics and ensure insights drive decisions and tradeoffs.
• Build systems to enable scalable research and improve efficiency and consistency.
• Mentor junior researchers and foster knowledge sharing.
• Monitor industry trends and AI product development to stay ahead with innovative methods.
