Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years in event management or related area.
• 2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Admin or related major; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Leads pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups.
• Identifies operational challenges and works with staff to solve them.
• Manages customer budgets to maximize revenue and meet needs.
• Oversees customer experiences from file turnover through post-event turnover.
• Conducts pre- and post-event meetings to review group needs and feedback.
• Upsells products and services throughout the event process.
• Acts as liaison between field sales and customer during event process.
• Reviews billing and payments with clients.

Education

High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the event management or related professional area.

2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required.
