Job summary

Encore is seeking a Director, Event Technology (SNE) to lead the AV and event technology strategy at the assigned location(s). You will manage a small team and focus on revenue growth, profitability, and delivering World-Class service to venue clients.

You will oversee operations, budgeting, and relationships with venue personnel, ensuring on-time delivery of equipment and services, and driving continuous improvement across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of audio visual experience.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in a live show environment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members who may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels and provide outstanding customer service while focusing on customer retention.
• Serve events and act as a point of escalation when needed.
• Identify key issues and decision makers that influence contract renewal and leverage internal resources to renew existing business.
• Consult with Venue Sales Leadership on sales strategies and participate in business review presentations.
• Manage location P&L and develop action plans to address deficiencies or grow the business.
• Perform and direct daily floor operations including scheduling and equipment setups, operation, and strikes.
