Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Director, Event Technology to lead AV operations, client partnerships and profitability for the assigned venue(s) in the United States. The role emphasizes high-performance teams, accountability and continuous improvement, with on-site leadership for events and collaboration with venue leadership to renew and expand business.

You will manage scheduling, equipment, and cost controls while driving revenue growth and ensuring World-Class service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of audio visual experience and 1+ year of supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in customer service or hospitality preferred; sales experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of AV equipment and live event tech, with MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with venue clients to drive service quality and renewals.
• Manage location P&L, labor, equipment, and costs to meet profitability targets.
• Oversee daily event operations, including scheduling, equipment setup and teardown.
• Lead on-site technical support as the sole on-site technician when needed.
• Create sales strategies, prepare quotes and support proposals for events.
• Foster team development and coach staff to ensure high performance.
