Job summary

Encore is seeking a Director, Event Technology II to drive revenue and profitability for a hotel/venue location, ensuring World-Class service and strong partnerships with venue staff. The role requires leading a high-performance team, managing P&L up to $3.75M, and reporting to regional Venues leadership.

Responsibilities include sales strategy, client presentations, site visits, and coordinating with multiple departments to optimize events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of audio-visual experience.
• 2+ years of operations/supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of AV equipment in live events.
• Proficiency with computer hardware and software, including MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and profitability for assigned location(s) with cost control.
• Manage labor, equipment sub-rentals and other costs to achieve goals.
• Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and forecasts for senior management.
• Oversee daily floor operations, scheduling, and equipment setups.
• Ensure on-time delivery of services and equipment meeting brand standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and other departments to service events.
• Develop and manage performance, coaching, and staffing for the team.
• Maintain CRM data accuracy and stay current on product offerings.
