Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Director, Event Technology II to lead a high-performing team at a designated location, driving revenue and profitability from $900k to $3.75M while delivering World-Class service to venues and clients.

You will manage operations, finance, and sales efforts, partner with venue staff, and develop staff through coaching and performance management to grow the business and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of audio-visual experience.
• 2+ years of operations/supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable operations by optimizing labor, equipment, and costs.
• Manage location P&L and develop action plans to grow the business.
• Prepare accurate forecasts and contribute to business reviews.
• Coordinate invoicing and ensure billing accuracy.
• Lead on-site floor operations, scheduling, and equipment setups.
• Ensure on-time delivery and quality of services per client and brand standards.
• Create effective sales strategies with regional leadership to maximize revenue.
• Present proposals and quotes to clients and support site visits.
• Provide world-class customer service and maintain relationships.
• Oversee technical aspects and guide technicians on issues.
• Develop people through coaching and training.
