Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technical Specialist to oversee the technical setup and operation of mid-level production events in a hospitality environment. You will report to the Associate Director or Director of Project Management in your area.

You will manage equipment operation, client relations, and team mentorship, ensuring flawless events and high client satisfaction in hotel/convention center settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of event technology experience with Audio, Lighting, Projection or Video.
• 3-4 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• External candidates must complete required trainings within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced AV gear; troubleshoot issues.
• Customer Service: exceed client expectations and maintain strong relationships.
• Training/Staff Development: mentor peers and stay current with tech trends.
• Event Supervision: lead on-site team during pre, during, and post events.
• Equipment Maintenance: manage security, storage, inventory, and transport.
