Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technical Specialist to manage the setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced audiovisual systems for mid-level production events in a hospitality setting. You will collaborate with event teams to deliver flawless experiences and ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, on-site troubleshooting, customer service excellence, staff mentorship, and supervising technicians during events, with emphasis on safety and inventory management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of event technology experience with specialty in Audio, Lighting, Projection, or Video is required.
• 3-4 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced audiovisual equipment; troubleshoot issues; ensure security and safety of equipment.
• Customer Service: provide excellent service; maintain client relationships; collaborate with internal team on event solutions.
• Training/Staff Development: mentor and coach team members; develop technical skills; stay current with industry trends.
• Event Supervision: perform pre/during/post event work; supervise technicians during events.
• Equipment Maintenance: assist with storage, inventory, and maintenance; forecast equipment needs.
