Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technical Lead to manage setup and operation of mid-to-large-scale audiovisual systems in hospitality venues. You’ll troubleshoot issues, mentor technicians, and ensure client satisfaction while coordinating with event staff and hotel teams.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, technical mastery, and adherence to safety and company processes, with opportunities to influence equipment and invoicing workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for roles operating company vehicles.
• External/internal training and certification requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown AV equipment for events; troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage guest relationships on site.
• Demonstrate advanced technical ability; anticipate equipment challenges and resolve them promptly.
• Follow company processes, complete paperwork, and coordinate with staff/vendors as needed.
• Utilize floor up-selling techniques and assist with finalizing client invoices.
