Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Sr. Technical Lead to bridge the gap between technical lead and technical specialist for general sessions and larger events.

Reporting to an Operations Manager, this on-site role will oversee equipment operation, client relations, and staff development in a hotel/convention center setting. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a related field and 2-3 years in customer service or hospitality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 2+ years of field experience in specialty area is required.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: ensures flawless event setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced AV equipment.
• Customer Service: provides excellent service and maintains client relationships pre-event and during event.
• Training/Staff Development: mentors and coaches technical, sales, and operations team members.
• Event Supervision: supervises and directs other technicians during an event.
• Equipment Maintenance: assists with security, storage, transport, and maintenance of equipment.
