Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technical Specialist to lead the technical setup and operation of mid‑level production events in a hospitality environment. You will coordinate with project management leaders to deliver flawless events and ensure client satisfaction.

The role requires 3+ years in event technology with AV specialty and strong customer service or hospitality experience. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and flexible hours in hotel/convention settings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of event technology experience with specialty in Audio, Lighting, Projection, or Video.
• 3-4 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements per Encore’s program.

Responsibilities

• Operates and troubleshoots advanced audiovisual equipment for events.
• Sets up, runs, and breaks down equipment ensuring timely execution.
• Provides excellent customer service and collaborates with internal teams to optimize event solutions.
• Mentors and coaches junior staff to develop technical skills and stay current with industry trends.
