Job summary

Westmont Group is seeking an Event Planning Manager in Denver, CO. This role plans and coordinates complex hotel events from pre-event planning through post-event wrap, working with sales, catering, and operations to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include leading pre/post-event meetings, managing room blocks, and ensuring seamless service delivery, with opportunities to upsell and enhance guest experiences. A background in catering/rooms and leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of catering and rooms experience in the hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of a consistent ability to provide quality service.
• Previous leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and upsell the program with the client including space, times, equipment, menus and themes.
• Coordinate with hotel departments and client to ensure seamless service.
• Maximize revenues and control costs for events while delivering quality product.
• Lead pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups.
• Manage group room blocks and meeting space for assigned groups.
• Provide exceptional guest satisfaction and act as liaison throughout the event process.
