Job summary

Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center seeks an experienced hospitality professional to coordinate high-complexity events and conventions. You'll plan group and convention bookings, negotiate rooms, menus, and setups, and maximize revenue while delivering a superior product.

The role emphasizes managing end-to-end event details, leading pre-event and post-event meetings, and ensuring seamless turnover from sales to operations. Hospitality leadership experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of catering and rooms experience in the hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of a consistent ability to provide quality service.
• Previous leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, upsell and detail the program with the client including verification and modification of space requirements, times, equipment, menus, themes/decorations, etc.
• Monitor Convention Groups Room Requirements to ensure all convention attendees receive commitments made in the hotels’ agreements.
• Manage function details and related activities to ensure that program requirements are satisfied; anticipate and handle customer complaints and/or problems.
• Improve hotel convention services' products through development of new sales tools, menus, themes, and decorations; analyze competitors and customer needs.
• Monitor and control individual event budgets and details to maximize revenues and minimize expenses.
• Coordinates and communicates with customers regarding event details; follow up post-event.
