Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technical Lead to set up and operate audiovisual systems in hospitality venues. You will ensure customer satisfaction, guide a team of technicians, and maintain strong client relationships during events.

The role requires AV experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to lift and move equipment. Candidates should be prepared to work irregular hours in hotel/conference settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience required.
• A valid driver’s license required for roles that may operate company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet training and certification requirements within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operation, and breakdown of intermediate audiovisual equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Follow company security and safety measures and ensure equipment is secure when in use.
• Provide excellent service and build strong client relationships on site.
• Lead, mentor, and coach other technicians and collaborate with staff and vendors.
