Job summary

Encore seeks a Sr. Technical Lead in a hotel/convention center environment in Teton Village, WY. This role bridges the gap between technical lead and specialist, supervising equipment operation for events and guiding a team during pre/during/post activities.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of field experience, strong customer service skills, and a preferred bachelor\u2019s degree. Lifting up to 50 lbs is required; work hours vary with events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 2+ years of field experience in specialty area is required.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position, within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s Global Learning Training Program.
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively with a diverse workforce, customer base and senior management.
• Strong customer, client and coworker interface experience and abilities.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced audiovisual equipment.
• Troubleshoots technical issues and resolves problems quickly.
• Complies with security and safety measures.
• Maintains equipment security during use.
• Customer Service: provide excellent service and exceed client expectations.
• Collaborates with internal teams on event solutions pre-event and during event.
• Training/Staff Development: mentor and coach technical and operations staff.
• Event Supervision: supervise other technicians during events.
• Equipment Maintenance: inventory, storage, transportation, and maintenance.
