Job summary

Encore is seeking a Sr. Technical Lead to bridge the roles of technical lead and specialist for hotel/convention center events. The position focuses on small general sessions or assisting with larger ones and reports to an Operations Manager or DIR/DET.

You will supervise technicians, ensure flawless event execution, and maintain equipment security and inventory. The role emphasizes mentoring, customer service, and hands-on operation across pre-, during, and post-event phases, with a strong

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred.
2+ years of field experience in specialty area required.
2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore's Global Learning Training Program.

Responsibilities

Ensures accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced audiovisual equipment.
Troubleshoots technical issues and resolves problems quickly.
Provides mentorship and coaching to technical, sales, and operations team members.
Performs advanced work pre/during/post event with operations team members.
Assists with inventory and forecasting of equipment needs.
